Just when I thought all hope was gone...before I moved here and completely got disconnected with everything...I had downloaded a random album, artist completely unknown to me. Adjusting to French life ive been turning to this album for..not inspiration or anything..but kinda like comfort.

Moving to a new place isn't easy...went from moving out of Mikkeli (i miss it so much) to crashing on one couch in Helsinki to another couch in Lille. And all in a period of about 3 weeks. Luckily I was able to find an apartment pretty fast. Been in Lille for 16 days now and can't say that I am loving it (shit bureaucracy here), however, I am enjoying myself to the fullest.
Shame though, init? I haven't been existent on my blog for a long time and it feels so distant from me. And its not a good feeling. Kinda like abandoning something that you like, love, adore, etc etc... Im not sure if me moving from one place to another justifies but I guess its an excuse enough.
Havn't found my scene yet..kinda waiting for it jump out of somewhere. You know, a place to listen to some chill music..hear a live band..walk into a random place and think, "fuck yea, the bros & ettes here look pretty chill..." dont care if its boarders, surfers, hipsters, skiiers, hippies, chillwavers, rastafaris...just need to find this place- hopefully there is one here in Lille.
The night life here is pretty much an on going thing. People are out every single night...im not sure if that's the norm. or because I happen to live 2 minutes from the street that has all the bars and nightclubs..but oh well, im not complaining :] Going out here kinda reminds me of Julian Lynch's "Travellers" ...i found this live video which pretty much sums up my fun nights in Le France!
I'm still in the process of settling down..it takes time! well, in my case it takes forever. So, soon will be back on the hunt for meaningful music..or activities or something.
